Intellectual Property & Abuse Reporting
Last updated: March 31, 2026
1. Overview
QuickRandomChat respects the intellectual property rights of others and takes all reports of copyright infringement and platform abuse seriously. This page outlines how to report infringing content, abusive behavior, and what to expect when a report is submitted.
2. Platform Context
QuickRandomChat is a real-time, text-only, anonymous chat platform. It is important to understand the following characteristics when considering an intellectual property or abuse report:
- Conversations are not stored. All chat messages exist only in active server memory and are permanently destroyed the moment a session ends.
- Users cannot upload, share, or host files, images, videos, or any media through the platform.
- There is no user-generated content (UGC) that persists on the platform after a session is closed.
- Reported sessions are the only exception: the most recent messages from a reported session are temporarily captured for investigation and automatically deleted after a short retention period.
3. Reporting Abusive Content
If you encounter content during a live chat session that violates our Community Guidelines, you should use the in-chat Report button immediately. Submitting a report triggers the following actions:
- The active session is immediately and permanently terminated for both participants.
- The most recent messages from the session are securely captured as evidence.
- The captured evidence is stored temporarily for investigation and is automatically deleted after the review period.
- Appropriate enforcement action is taken based on the severity and history of the reported user.
For full details on our enforcement process, please review our Terms of Service.
4. Copyright Infringement Notices
If you believe that your copyrighted material has been used without authorization in connection with our platform, you may submit a formal copyright infringement notice. While the nature of our platform (real-time, ephemeral, text-only) significantly limits the possibility of persistent copyright infringement, we take all claims seriously and will investigate accordingly.
Your notice must include the following information:
- A clear description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the material that you believe is infringing, including any available details to help us locate it (such as session time, display name, or description of the content).
- Your full legal name, email address, and phone number.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in question is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of law, that the information provided in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
5. Where to Send Notices
Copyright infringement notices should be sent to our designated representative at the following address:
Email: dmca@quickrandomchat.com
We will acknowledge receipt of your notice and respond within a reasonable timeframe, in accordance with applicable law.
6. Counter-Notification
If you believe that content attributed to you was removed or restricted in error or as a result of misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to the email address listed above. Your counter-notification must include:
- Identification of the material that was removed or restricted and its location on the platform prior to removal.
- A statement, made under penalty of law, that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or restricted as a result of error or misidentification.
- Your full legal name, email address, and phone number.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
7. Repeat Infringers
In accordance with applicable intellectual property laws, QuickRandomChat maintains a policy of terminating the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers. We reserve the right to disable access and permanently ban any user who engages in repeated violations.
8. Enforcement Actions
In response to verified reports of abuse or copyright infringement, we may take the following enforcement actions at our sole discretion:
- Formal Warning: Issued for first-time or minor violations.
- Temporary Suspension: Applied for repeated or moderate violations, restricting access for a defined period.
- Permanent Ban: Reserved for severe or repeat violations, resulting in complete and irreversible loss of platform access.
For full details on our enforcement escalation model, please review our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
